To Arrive 02:33
I Click Click quick Need to be there Before the others arrive I say to you I see I do realize I’ve got a lot of things on my mind. You always say this stuff to me I do see and I agree But it’s hard for me When the ego is crowded And I’m feeling surrounded And I’m sorry I’m shouting But I’m nothing without it I give it all up I take it all back I give it all up I take it all back I get all wrapped in the suit Heavy inhabit the Fool You are the antithesis Heaven is Pacifist Alright Show me a way I rearrange Show me the ways I can change For the minute I am in it I am a Quivering dithering blithering I am an idiot I know, you know, I know you know I know you do I act a fool When overcome and overrun Caught up in the moment Heard it all before Caught up in the moment It’s getting to be a bore I do mull it over baby For a minute While I’m in it And I decide to use The truth that’s opportune to me
2.
I’m sorry I mumble You say it makes me hard to understand I think I’m in trouble You say I make it hard to lend a hand You say a sentence like you Sound like a stranger now unto me though I mistake your meaning for An observation of my voice on the phone Something about the vocal tone. Isolation, strung like a rope I’m heaving sobs between the dial tones Some amazing, syllable throw Buzzing the blush into your cheekbones I feel right beside you And all alone. You speak of figures and the picket boom Then ask for details of the digit kind I give you numbers and then I assume You’re in a room without a clock or the time I hear the fullest stop without resume But I can’t tell if it’s on your end or mine The hotel will be serving breakfast soon. We appreciate your patience. This year I’m gonna make some changes.

about

For Thomas Calder AKA Daggy Man,
the last decade has been a musical,
personal and mental journey with very
high highs and incredible lows. He’s
seen a personal trajectory that has had
him releasing and touring in the US and
UK with The Trouble with Templeton,
smashing millions of streams on
Spotify with his first solo exploration as
Daggy Man, and struggling with a
journey toward mental health, at times
closing himself away, unable to face the
world, all the while chronicling his
experiences through his songs.
Daggy Man’s third album ‘Yawn’ is due
for release in 2020, with the door to the
album journey opening just a crack today via the melancholic Sufjan Stevens-channeling
‘The Conversation’ and the deliciously and chaotically f**ked up ‘To Arrive’ providing the
first chapters of the story.
‘The Conversation’ is about a telephone exchange as two people come together in their
separateness, while ‘To Arrive’ is a song about anger, frustration and angst, followed by an
admission and confession of one’s inability to control the emotional mechanism that drives
them.
“This album is about the self, it’s about personality, it’s about connection and
communication, between people, between moments, and between different parts of our
inner dialogue. It’s about lost souls and searching minds and the pursuit of peace and
meaning among the chaos of your inner landscape,” said Daggy Man.
“It’s full of light and shade, it’s full of humour and pathos. It’s bizarre and strange and not like
anything I’ve ever made before, it’s connected to some primal place within my body, and not
just crafted with my mind. These two tracks are a fitting insight into what is to come.”
‘The Conversation’ and ‘To Arrive’ are available today wherever good music is

streamed. ‘Yawn’ will be released in April 2020.
