This is a song that is near and dear to my heart and has been travelling with me for many years now. I've attempted to record it several times, in several different forms and arrangements over the past eight years - and something just never fell quite right. I tried to dress it up, I tried to push it, or hold it back, or just mould it into something it didn't want to be. This time around I just let it be and gave way to the simplicity of its intentions. Its meaning has grown and changed for me personally over the years, but at its heart, It's a song about love and the beginnings of things. It's a song about late evenings filled with conversations and feelings. It's a song about someone, somewhere. It's also about whatever it means to you. I'm happy to finally have it out there in the world, and I hope it finds you, wherever you are, and helps, gives pause, or affects you in some small or big way. Music is a dream.
