A little over 8 months since releasing his 5th studio album under the moniker of Daggy man, Thomas Caler is back with more music.

“My Name” is at once delicate and deep - Sonically restrained and lyrically complex - in 3 and a half minutes Daggy man manages to tackle themes of identity and character, aging and love - with all the delicacy and power we’ve come to expect of the singer/songwriter. Mixing acoustic and electronic instrumentation, the song once again reveals a new sonic side to Daggy Man who classily and craftily continues to dip and dive through genres and sounds, from one release to the next.

“At its heart, It’s a song about character and reflection - what it means to develop, and grow, and evolve your identity over time. It’s about how pieces of your life puzzle shift and expand, relationships break apart and new ones form and what it means to age, and what comes with that journey.”

In a world of ever quickening pace, “My Name” is a refreshing slow breather - It takes its time, asks questions of its listener and begs to slow down, and lean in a little closer.

“My Name” is the first offering of Daggy Man’s upcoming 6th album - to be released in late 2023.
